My approach is built on what Nutritional Therapy calls "The Foundations of Health." These are the five cornerstones of wellness that, when properly supported, allow health to flow naturally.

Nutrient-Dense Diet

Whole, thoughtfully prepared, foods are a source of joy and nourish the body with the nutrients it needs to thrive.

Optimal Digestion

What we eat has little impact if we can’t digest and absorb the nutrients. Proper digestive function is essential for the health of every cell and system.

Blood Sugar Regulation

From energy balance, metabolism, and inflammation to hormone production and mental health, blood sugar regulation is crucial to maintaining wellness.

Quality Sleep

Adequate, quality sleep is essential for optimal physiological and cognitive function.

Stress Management

We cannot always control our stressors, but managing our response to stress has profoundly positive physical and mental impacts on health.

My Path to Nutritional Therapy

Growing up, my health struggles—especially severe acne—left me feeling hopeless, burnt out, and trapped in negative self-talk. I tried everything: dermatologists, medications, supplements, restrictive diets, and endless “perfect” routines.

While nutrition eventually opened my eyes to the power of food as medicine, my desire to heal slowly turned into obsession. I lived in fear of food, driven by guilt and perfectionism, believing my body would only heal if I did everything exactly right. Eventually, that mindset led to complete physical and emotional burnout.

True healing began when I learned that mindset and nourishment must go hand-in-hand. Through faith, support, and mindset shifts, I discovered a sustainable way to care for my body one rooted in nourishment rather than restriction, compassion rather than control. This journey is what led me to the Nutritional Therapy Association where I'm honing the skills to translate nutritional science into practical, personalized strategies for future clients.

My goal is to help others break free from confusion, food fear, and extremes by supporting their bodies with realistic, nutrient-dense nutrition and a healing mindset. My passion is guiding people toward lasting wellness that feels peaceful, empowering, and life-giving.

My approach will be:

When I'm not studying for my future work with clients, you might find me sipping a matcha while snuggled up with a good book, working up a sweat on my pilates mat, or creating a mouthwatering recipe in the kitchen.

I believe in walking the talk – the foundations (nutrient-dense diet, blood sugar balance, digestion, sleep, and stress management) aren't just what I love learning about, they're the foundation of how I aim to live. This firsthand experience allows me to offer not just theoretical knowledge, but practical insights on integrating healthy habits into busy, modern lives.
